PMS Ice Cream Understands Exactly What You Go Through, Ladies

All right, ladies. This ice cream has the ability to understand how you feel and make it all better at the same time, two things a man can’t do.

A graphic designer in Texas named Parker Jones created a series of ice-cream label designs that try to explain the hardships that come with Premenstrual Syndrome.

I obviously wouldn’t know firsthand, but I’ve been told this very specific occasion usually involves a lot of ice cream consumption, so Jones tried relating the feelings that come with PMS and slapped them on tubs of delicious ice cream.

Jones said that she was trying to convey the “three steps of PMS” in these ice cream flavors. The mint chocolate chip flavor is labeled, “I Need Some More.” The rocky road is labled, “Don’t Come Near Me.” While the strawberry relays, “I Think I’m Dying.” strawberry.

On the side of the mint chocolate chip you’ll see the words, “hungry, famished, starving, ravenousness, overloaded and stuffed.” The rocky road has, “anger, rage, whining, crying, anxiety, laughter, and repeat” written on it. On the strawberry flavor, there’s a daily struggle laid out with, “Day one: It’s only just begun. Day two: Hell is coming. Day three: Can’t turn back now. Day four: Only a few more days. Day five: Dear, God. Make it stop. Day six: Please tell me it’s over. Day seven: Sweet relief.”

Again, I know nothing of these doings, but day seven sounds a lot better than those other days.

Of course this was all done in the name of art and you can’t go out to CVS and find one of these, but I’m sure regular ice cream works just as well. Right?
