The Amount Of Energy Drinks Teens Can Drink Before It Gets Dangerous

If you usually feel like you’re going to die after chugging an energy drink, you should probably slow down and cut back at bit.

The Canadian Journal of Cardiology said that a third of kids between the age of 10 and 19 fuel up with caffeine-filled energy drinks and it’s not recommended that they drink more than one energy drink can per day. Caffeine is generally harmless until it’s consumed in large amounts, as is the case with energy drinks, then you start seeing signs of heart problems. On top of that, adolescents are more vulnerable to this irregular cardiac activity, even if the adolescents are healthy.

The Canadians that did this study recommended that teens don’t drink energy drinks before or during playing sports. They also don’t recommend that energy drinks be mixed with alcohol, or drugs.

So watch your energy drink consumption, kids. Or f**k it, thug life.
