This Ice Cream Gets Excited When You Lick It

Do you ever get bored when eating the same colored ice cream, lick after lick? Well, here comes science to the rescue once again, curing problems we didn’t know we had.

If you have the attention span of a spoon, this ice cream will keep you entertained for a good 15 minutes as the color changes with every lick.

Spanish physicist Manuel Linares calls it the Xamaleón, and said it is made with natural ingredients. It starts off baby blue, until he sprays his “Love elixir” on it to turn it dark purple. Then when you lick it, it continues to change color. Those who have tried it, said it has a mixed fruit-like taste.

Linares nonchalantly explained that any food can change color, it just depends on its temperature and oxidation. He’s even working on an ice cream that glows in ultraviolet lights, so you can get your ice cream on at the club.

So he has a cool magic trick to bust out at kids parties, and we have a colorful treat to gawk at.
