Carl’s Jr. Debuts Spicy Chorizo-Loaded Breakfast Biscuits and Burritos

We at Foodbeast hold these truths to be self-evident: that side salads are depressing, that life is too short to eat bad food, and that when deciding a breakfast protein, one must always choose bacon. Unless one of the other options is chorizo.

The spicy seasoned sausage has slowly but steadily creeped onto chain breakfast menus over the years, and is now available at Carl’s Jr. in both biscuit or burrito form. Sandwiched inside a “Made from Scratch” biscuit, the Chorizo, Egg & Cheese Biscuit offers a chorizo crumble-laden egg patty topped with pepperjack. The Chorizo, Egg & Cheese Burrito, on the other hand, stuffs the chorizo crumbles and scrambled eggs inside a soft flour tortilla, along with shredded cheese, hash browns, and pico de gallo.

As an early morning dessert, Carl’s also recently debuted its new monkey bread-style Cinnamon Pull-Aparts. Which are just pull-aparts for fun of course, because God knows we’re not sharing.
