Taco Bell Philippines Serving Up Bacon Soft Tacos
As part of international fast food’s never-ending quest to best their American counterparts, Taco Bell Philippines has recently rolled out its own version of the breakfast First Meal menu — just with, like, 1000% more bacon.
They’re calling it the First Meal Bacon Breakfast, and it includes, among other things, a Bacon Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes Bowl, a Bacon Cheese Quesadilla, and, yes, a Bacon Soft Taco, which is exactly like a regular Taco Bell Soft Taco, but with a whole bed of bacon in place of seasoned ground beef.
According to Brand Eating, we actually had our own version of the bacon taco back during the early ’90s (along with a Bacon Cheeseburger Burrito), before both were inevitably scrapped for reasons immaterial.
Guess we just have to settle for a 100% bacon restaurant, sigh.
