Would You Pay $80 For An Avatar Popcorn Bucket?
The long-awaited continuation of director James Cameron’s Avatar series flies into theaters on December 19, and it’s only right to celebrate its arrival with a special popcorn bucket.
Regal Cinemas revealed the collectible bucket, which takes the form of a Mountain Banshee, which are the dragon-like creatures that the Na’vi fly on after bonding with them as part of a rite of passage.
While the idea of adding functional parts to these special popcorn buckets isn’t new, this one in particular works just as well as a playable toy. The saddle where the popcorn goes is large enough to fit two Avatar toys, which makes it an appealing collectible for adults and kids alike. Also, it looks to be the largest popcorn bucket yet to promote a film.
