Whole Foods Boozy Milkshakes Are A Thing At Some New York Locations

As Whole Foods continues to put more indulgent eats in its grocery stores, we begin to find more legit items inside of some locations. Whole Foods boozy milkshakes, for example, are a find we weren’t expecting but are totally loving.

Popsugar found a set of the alcoholic treats available in a Whole Foods in Williamsburg, New York. This particular store has a restaurant and tap room called N4 inside of it that offers the shakes. On their menu, six total flavors are offered, with regular and vegan drinks both available. They’re not alcoholic initially, but you can ask the bartenders to make your shakes boozy for an added kick.

As legit as that sounds, the Williamsburg location isn’t the only New York Whole Foods with alcoholic shakes. A new store in Buffalo, New York also has boozy shake options available at their restaurant. Called Bar 1818, the drinks here are more reminiscent to Black Tap’s freak shakes than the Williamsburg location’s offerings. Options like Coffee & Donuts, topped with a cake donut and brownie-garnished Grasshopper shake are on the menu here, with an option to make boozy as well, apparently.

We definitely never imagined seeing these inside of a grocery store until the Amazon-owned chain started doing it, that’s for sure. Despite that, the combo of milkshakes and alcohol at Whole Foods is definitely interesting enough to merit a try. Hopefully, they’ll do well enough at these locations for other Whole Foods spots with restaurants and/or bars to offer their own renditions. Who knows?
