How To Make Twice Fried Orange Chicken

We often hear that “two” is better than “one.” Today, we know that same logic also applies to “twice”—twice is better than once.

Case in point: this twice fried orange chicken. Sometimes there’s this issue with orange chicken in which the final product turns out saucy, but soggy. And that is truly heartbreaking.

In this recipe, however, that soggy bottom baby problem is dissolved by the chicken’s additional fried layer, keeping it crispy-crunchy yet tangy-saucy. To achieve this we used the Big Boss Red Dual Deep Fryer (with dual fryers) from hhgregg.

The recipe’s perfect for your next #homegating session, so make sure you pick up your own fryer ASAP! Then again, grab two.

You can enter to win this fryer and other prizes during hhgregg’s 10 Days of Homegating contest, from September 12-21. (Different prizes will be given away every day!) Enter to win each day’s prize here.
