Hoping to bring Waffle House’s signature setting to the gaming world, fans have set their sights on Katsuhiro Harada, the longtime director of the popular Tekken video game series. No restaurant lets you go from combos to combos like Waffle House, so it’s the perfect choice for a fighting stage. Harada responded to the hungry masses in a follow-up post, “The restaurant has both the trademark and the rights to the restaurant, so if the restaurant chain’s headquarters refuses to accept my proposal, it will not happen.”
So it appears that the ball is in Waffle House’s court for now. Let's hope the company agrees with this potentially legendary partnership.
