Taqueria Mexico

Led by the tip of one of our readers Sean Martin (feel free to keep e-mailing us your favorite hot spots, we read every e-mail!), we decided to check out this 24 hour abode. Humbly situated in the safety of the city of Orange, in between a 7-Eleven, Subway and an attached Donut Shop. Boasting a simple menu (tacos and burritos) and quick service, coupled with one of the most uninspired names I’ve seen in awhile, Taqueria Mexico is actually, definitely where it’s at. Peep Mang and I’s journey:

Upon entering you have two choice, the left half (above) of the restaurant is the real eatery. To the right (below), we have the donut shop. Decisions, decisions.

We place our orders of chicken burritos and carnitas tacos.

Two minutes later.

Mang goes in for bite #2.

Bite #3. Embarassing.

Even more embarrassing? Moments after Mang’s failure, mine slipped away from me as well. But since I’m taking pictures and documenting the adventure, of course, I did this on purpose in order to better see the ingredients. Journalistic integrity at its finest, folks.

Mang takes out the credit card and spreads the love by offering me a taco. The tacos need to be tried. All in all, this place is super simple and perfect when you need food quick, or late night. Hustled in the Orange/Anaheim psuedo-border, whenever you’re in the area, definitely give this place a try!
