Baja Blast is getting a sibling. After two decades of cult status, Taco Bell is expanding its most iconic drink with a new permanent flavor—Mountain Dew Baja Midnight—hitting menus nationwide on August 14.

It’s Baja Blast, but with a twist: passion fruit meets that signature tropical lime, poured out in a shade of Taco Bell purple you can’t miss. This isn’t just another limited drop—Baja Midnight is officially part of the roster, ready to sit beside the original as the next chapter in Baja lore.

You can grab it two ways:

  • Baja Midnight Drink — the straight-up liquid legend-in-the-making.
  • Baja Midnight Freeze — the same flavor, just iced out and only here for a limited time.

For the hardcore fans, Taco Bell is even letting Rewards Members snag a free medium Baja Midnight on August 15 with a $5 app order. And yes, they’re already teasing more Baja-flavored experiments in the future, including gelato, cinnamon twists, and even a Baja Blast pie.

If the OG was summer in a cup, Baja Midnight might be its after-dark alter ego—still tropical, still electric, but with a mysterious purple kick.
