Subway is Testing a New One-Net-Carb ‘Hero Bread’

Subway has been super active in 2021, between the largest brand revamp in company history to defending the validity of their tuna, the sandwich shop has done plenty to reach diners these days. Add to that a new one-net carb bread option that’s made in part by a new partnership with Hero Bread, that will capture the attention of those always looking for a healthy option.

You can start finding the new one-net carb Hero Bread near the end of October at select locations, starting with Subway’s Artisan Italian Bread option. This new Hero Bread is said to have 0 grams of sugar, 1 net carb, 12 grams of protein, 26 grams of fiber and only 100 calories per 6-inch sandwich.

Hero Bread sandwich rolls are being tested at select Subway locations in Boise, ID, Colorado Springs, CO, Des Moines, IA, and Savannah, GA through mid-December 2021.
