Shake Shack’s Beefy Hot Dog Lineup Takes Center Stage This Summer

If burgers are Shake Shack’s main character, then this summer, hot dogs are the long-lost twin stepping into the stoplight. Because Shake Shack’s new Dog Days menu is that serious—and it’ll flip how you think about the humble hot dog.

Launched on July 15, just in time for National Hot Dog day today, Dog Days is Shake Shack’s first-ever full-on hot dog lineup. Not just one or two toppings slapped on their standard Flat Top Dog, we’re talking a full cast of meaty, crunchy, melty combos. And to keep it spicy, they’re also doing a “2 dogs for $8” deal to match value with deliciousness.

Every dog in this lineup is built on Shake Shack’s Flat Top Dog, made from 100% Vienna Beef, sourced from the legends in Chicago, who know a thing or two about a snappy sausage.

So what’s exactly on the Dog Days menu? Let’s break it down:

  • Angus Beef Chili Dog
This one’s a beefy unit. Shack’s 100% Angus beef chili plus crispy onions bring the heat and the crunch. And if you’re in the mood for something melty, American cheese and molten cheddar cheese can also be the move. You’ll need napkins. Trust.
  • High Heat Dog
For those who like scintillating pleasure: hot pepper blend, cherry peppers, and molten cheddar + American cheese. Sweaty brow, satisfied heart.
  • Fried Pickle Dog
An actual hero origin story in edible form. Fried pickles, chopped bacon, melted cheese. The crunch overload is what we’re here for.
  • Crispy Onion Cheese Dog
This one plays it safe in a good way. Classic cheese dog meets crispy onions. Simple and sumptuous.

It’s Shake Shack’s glizzy era and the people are ready. Limited time only, while supplies last. Grab two for $8 or risk regretting it when the cravings come tapping on your shoulder.
