Snack giants Hershey and Mondelez are making good on years of fan wishlists—and Reddit threads—with two new mash-up drops: the REESE’S OREO Cup and the OREO REESE’S Cookie, officially fusing America’s two most iconic snacks.

The REESE’S OREO Cup wraps OREO cookie crumbs into a layered milk chocolate and white creme peanut butter cup. Meanwhile, the OREO REESE’S Cookie packs REESE’S peanut butter crème and OREO cookie crumbs inside the classic chocolate sandwich cookie. Yes, it’s as ridiculous and perfect as it sounds.

Hershey says this collab has been more than two years in the making—a major shift from their long-held “don’t mess with a classic” stance. But in an era of rising prices, sugar scrutiny, and snack fatigue, indulgent innovation is back on the table. Especially for Gen Z, who are driving demand for bold textures and flavor-bomb collabs.

The brands themselves admitted the combo was simply “too good to ignore.”

Presale for both products starts August 18, but fans can get early access:
