Times Square transformed into a holiday dreamscape today as Raising Cane’s owner and founder Todd Graves teamed up with holiday movie icon Lacey Chabert to gift bikes to members of the Boys & Girls Club of Harlem. Amid festive decorations, carolers, and even Santa himself, nearly 80 children from the club gathered to receive an early Christmas surprise. While 100 bikes were distributed on-site, Raising Cane’s is donating 400 total to the organization, with plans to host a bike-riding clinic to ensure every child can enjoy their gift to the fullest.

Chabert, the star of 40 Hallmark movies and Netflix holiday hit Hot Frosty, was the event’s perfect ambassador of holiday cheer. “We’re all in this together,” Chabert said. “Sharing joy during the holidays is what it’s all about, and Todd’s commitment to giving back is inspiring.” Graves, who started the annual bike giveaway inspired by his own childhood Christmases, echoed the sentiment, emphasizing the importance of making a local impact.

This year’s event marks the fifth year of Raising Cane’s bike giveaway program, which will see 2,500 bikes donated across 25 cities nationwide. In true Cane’s fashion, the branded bikes and helmets were as attention-grabbing as their famous crinkle-cut fries.

Adding to the holiday magic, Raising Cane’s flagship Times Square restaurant unveiled its over-the-top Christmas display, named TimeOut’s No. 1 NYC holiday window. Complete with animatronics, festive elves, and even a nod to Elf with Will Ferrell’s iconic costume, the display was a seasonal spectacle worthy of its iconic setting.

With Chabert, Graves, and a star-studded guest list that included reality TV favorites and athletes, the event highlighted the joy of giving during the holiday season. This initiative is part of Raising Cane’s broader charitable efforts, which also include selling holiday-themed merchandise to support local pet welfare organizations.

Whether through bikes or Box Combos, Graves summed it up best: “At the end of the day, it’s not about what you get—it’s about what you give.”
