To Combat The Chicken Wing Shortage This Spot Is Serving Up Pork Wings

Much to many diners’ dismay, the chicken wing shortage of 2021 is a very real thing. The dilemma has forced many to pivot, like Wingstop getting creative and launching Thighstop. Other spots, like Florida-based Hurricane Grill & Wings, have followed the same approach, opting to offer other items in place of chicken wings. Hurricane’s newest item, Pork Wings, are their unlikely answer to the chicken wing shortage.

Made from pig shank, the bone-in Pork Wings by Hurricane Grill & Wings can be accompanied with two sauces — Sweet Red Chili or BBQ — and will make its debut this week on National Chicken Wing Day, July 29.

Wing lovers, here’s your chance to try something new and do your part to ease the chicken wing shortage that continues on.
