Olive Garden Will Trade You Free Babysitting for Dinner

Apparently, Olive Garden is encouraging you to ditch your kids for a hot plate of steak gorgonzola alfredo. The restaurant chain, owned by Darden, has responded to declining sales by lowering prices and offering competitive deals. Now, Olive Garden is offering free babysitting for parents dining in at any of their participating locations on February 7.

Parents will be able to reserve a spot with a deposit and drop their kids off at one of the 145 My Gym locations (a children’s fitness center) on their way to Olive Garden. From there they can enjoy “date night” sans the little ones. The deposit will only be refunded if parents show their Olive Garden receipt upon returning to My Gym to pick up their kids.

This novelty one-night-only deal is limited to 30 children per My Gym location and most events will last from 6 to 9 pm, depending on location. Hoping to promote their two-for-$25 special, we’ve got to tip our hat to Olive Garden. Slick one, guys.
