Olive Garden: New Pork Milanese, Zeppoli and More

It’s always good times when Olive Garden brings in some new menu items. Their latest additions come in the form of another entree, a children’s plate, dessert and wine. New offerings include the Pork Milanese dish,  prepared with the traditional scaloppini technique used in Italy. We’re looking at a pork loin, dredged in a blend of panko, herbed breadcrumbs, fresh parsley and Parmesan cheese and pan-seared to a golden brown.  The pork is accompanied by asiago-filled tortelloni tossed with fresh spinach in a garlic cream sauce. The final touch? When the dish is ready, you get a final squeeze of lemon tableside as they do in Italy.

On the dessert side of things, we have airy puffs of fried dough called Zeppoli. The pillowy dough balls, once fried, are gently tossed in superfine, vanilla-infused sugar and served with a decadent milk-dark chocolate dipping sauce.

As to not forget the children at the table, the folks at Olive Garden have added a new Children’s Cheese Ravioli to the kids’ Garden Fare menu. The Cheese Ravioli are served with a fresh, light, pureed marinara sauce.

Last, but definitely not least, the restaurant has added a new wine to the mix in the form of the Castello del Poggio Moscato,  a lightly sparkling white wine with notes of apricot and honey. Head over to Olive Garden if you’re fiendin’ to try any of these new items!
