New Griddle Restaurant Lets You Cook Your Own Breakfast Like Korean BBQ

A Nashville-based restaurant named “The Pfunky Griddle” is going viral with its innovative approach to breakfast. There, customers can customize their pancakes and scramble their cheese-topped eggs right at the table. It’s a clever, yet simple twist on the Korean BBQ cooking style, and recreates a bit of home-cooked breakfast feel.

While flapjacks are the main focus, Pfunky Griddle also offers other traditional breakfast staples, some of which you can cook as well.

From pancakes and omelets to French toast and grilled cheese sandwiches, the griddle can be used in many ways. The best part is that The Pfunky Griddle is an all-you-can-eat spot, opening up a veritable canvas for diners to let their creative juices flow. There are many toppings to choose from, fruits like apple slices, a berry blend, bananas, pineapples, and more.

If you’re looking for a sweet fix, you can top pancakes with M&M’s, Nutella, Oreo, or a drizzle of fruit-flavored syrup. Those that prefer salt to sugar can experiment with savory toppings too — or just save them for your eggs. You have the option of red onions, diced tomatoes, jalapeños, salsa, sour cream, black olives, and several cheeses.

The restaurant is vegan and vegetarian-friendly, too, and also offers gluten-free. I don’t know about y’all, but it’s definitely on my “must try” list in Nashville.
