McDonald’s Testing an “English Pub Burger”

Pushing forward with tastes from around the world, we just got wind that McDonald’s is testing a sandwich called the English Pub Burger. First spotted on this Tumblr blog and then at a Genoa, Illinois McDonald’s location, the new sandwich resembles an altered Angus Third Pounder, featuring an Angus Beef Burger (1/3 lb), hickory-smoked baco, white cheddar, American cheese, steak sauce, Dijon mustard, grilled onions. All the ingredients on the sandwich come piled onto an artisan roll and the new English marketing behind it notes the sandwich as Fancy, Smashing and Gobsmacked.

According to BurgerBusiness, the sandwich was priced at $4.49 for the a la carte version and $6.49 for the meal with fries and a beverage.
