This Loco Moco Danish is a Leveled Up Breakfast Fusion

Bake Sum out of Oakland, California is throwing a delicious curveball to patrons with a Loco Moco Danish that’s redefining breakfast pastries with some sophisticated funk and fusion.

For those that are not familiar, Loco Moco is a traditional Hawaiian dish that consists of a bed of fluffy white rice being topped with a juicy beef patty, fried egg, and smothered in a rich brown gravy.

What Bake Sum does is recalibrate the traditional dish a little and substitutes the rice for a buttery danish. A luscious mornay sauce enters the equation and makes it all add up with a soft boiled egg.

Truly this fun-filled fusion is flipping breakfast into a whole new level over at Bake Sum.
