A carefully crafted cocktail is a work of art. Mixologists are beverage scientists, unearthing unique ingredient pairings to deliver deliciously inventive libations. The Chandelier at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, known for offering elevating nightlife experiences and being one of the most legendary bars on The Strip, is launching a new cocktail program. Created by Gedeon Tsegaye, The Cosmopolitan’s Head of Mixology, it’s an extensive menu overhaul curated to provide guests with an enhanced multi-level experience.

“For years, The Chandelier has been a place where Las Vegas guests experience mixology in its most artistic form,” said Tsegaye in a press release. “This new program has reconceptualized how a cocktail can tell a story, engaging all the senses, and will transport guests through an unforgettable journey of flavor, innovation and elegance.”

The Chandelier features three floors, each offering distinct immersions. Guests start on Level Two, which is the top floor, and work their way down. On Level Two: The Art of Bubbles, enjoy force-carbonated champagne-forward cocktails with seasonal flavors — there are also contemporary takes on classic cocktails. From there, travel to Level 1.5 for a modernized take on “The Cocktail Party.” Mixologists craft gourmet, yet modern spins on classic cocktails like the new “My Friend Daiquirita,” a clarified, carbon-negative cocktail using Batiste Agricole Rhum.

To cap their cocktail adventure off, guests travel to Level One: The Classic Cocktail, a spirit-forward nod to the Prohibition Era. There, sip on soon-to-be-classic cocktails like the “Some Reading Material,” a high-proof twist on the classic Sazerac that features Old Portero Rye Whiskey with Jamaican rum and chocolate bitters.

The Maraschino cherry on top of the experience is that each level offers spirit-free cocktails and The Chandelier’s signature cocktails inspired by previous mixologists. Mr. Orangesicles Nippy Mood is one non-alcoholic highlight, a nostalgic deluge featuring Lyre’s Dark Cane Spirit mixed with Hazelnut Orange, cream, Aleppo Pepper, and Fever Tree club soda.

Tsegaye added, “We’re defiantly flexing our modernist muscle here, streamlining our production to allow for efficient, consistent execution while pushing the boundaries of flavor and presentation. Whether it’s the bubbles, the foams, or the bold flavors, our guests will be blown away by what they see—and taste.”

Level 2 of The Chandelier’s new cocktail program is open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 3 a.m., and Friday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 3 a.m. Level 1.5 is open all week, 5 p.m. to 2 a.m., and Level 1 is accessible 24 hours.
