Krispy Kreme Just Created An Oreo Cookie Glaze For Their Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme is known for making different types of glazes to enrobe their doughnuts with, from the original icing to citrusy flavors like lemon.

Their latest glaze is a collab with OREO, a first, to make a brand new OREO Cookie Glaze that is coating a new set of doughnuts. This marks the first time that Krispy Kreme has ever teamed up with another company to create a glaze.

The two new doughnuts, the OREO Cookie Glazed Doughnut and OREO Cookie Over-The-Top Doughnut, each feature a dark black glaze that contains the flavor of the iconic cookie sandwich.

Inside of the OREO Cookie Glazed Doughnut is a Cookies and Kreme filling, much like the viral filled Original Glazed Doughnuts. It then gets topped with icing and OREO cookie pieces.

That doughnut’s more ornate counterpart, the Over-The-Top Doughnut, has the Cookies and Kreme filling on top of the glazed doughnut, complete with an entire OREO cookie wafer and chocolate icing.

OREO and Krispy Kreme’s glaze collab will be taking over the glaze waterfall in Krispy Kreme shops for a limited time, and you can pick a batch of these new fried dough treats starting April 5th.
