Rapper Gunna Finances a Free Grocery Story For His Old Middle School

Rapper Gunna, 28, is pushing P in the highest frequency by financing a free grocery store at his old middle school in Atlanta, Georgia.

Thanks to a partnership with Goodr, a nonprofit dedicated to ending food waste and hunger while also feeding communities through technology and logistics, Robert E. McNair Middle School was outfitted with its own store stocked with food, toiletries, school supplies, school uniforms, Gunna merch and even sneakers courtesy of Foot Locker. The best part is that it’s all free to the students there.

The store opened a few months ago in September fo 2021, with universal positive feedback.

To be quite frank, we really should be talking about wins like this more, where community support, positivity, and addressing food scarcity all get some shine. Salute to Gunna — now that’s P.
