Exciting news for pickle lovers: Grillo’s Pickles, the beloved pickle brand with a cult following, has announced a major expansion. The company is investing in a new $54 million manufacturing facility in Bartholomew County, Indiana.

As demand for artisanal pickles continues to rise, Grillo’s aims to meet it with a state-of-the-art, 155,000-square-foot production site near Columbus. The Taylorsville facility is expected to create up to 150 new jobs and contribute to the local economy.

Pickles are clearly experiencing a renaissance—no longer just a side dish, they’ve become versatile ingredients in cocktails, gourmet sandwiches, snacks, and even toothpaste. Grillo’s, known for its century-old family recipe and commitment to fresh ingredients without artificial preservatives, has built a loyal and growing fan base.

To expand its flavor offerings beyond traditional pickles, Grillo’s has formed several innovative partnerships. These include a Dill Pickle Bloody Mary mix with V8, a Pickle de Gallo Schmear with PopUp Bagels, and a Pickle Hard Seltzer with Two Robbers. The brand also partnered with Lord Hobo Brewing to release a limited-edition pickle beer and created Classic Dill Pickle-flavored chips with Utz, as well as a version with Boulder Canyon.

With its motto “Chill Out, Eat a Pickle,” Grillo’s is poised to bring even more refreshing flavors and inventive collaborations to consumers nationwide.
