When the 'Everything Bagel' ice cream flavor debuted last year at Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams, the internet pretty much reacted with as much confusion, surprise, and fervor as one would expect from such an unconventional flavor.

Though we know the ubiquitous delight Everything Bagel seasoning brings to many a food equation — Trader Joe's capitalized on it in chip form here — it being incorporated into ice cream was a hotly-debated topic upon the release by Jeni's back in January 2021. Reactions ranged from revulsion to pleasantly surprised, as the savory, salty, buttery flavor proved to be a buzzworthy release.
