El Pollo Loco is dialing up the flavor with its latest release: Mango Habanero Fire-Grilled Chicken. Launching January 30 for a limited time, this ‘swicy’ upgrade takes the brand’s signature fire-grilled chicken and amps it up with a blend of sweet mango and fiery habanero heat.

“The new Mango Habanero Fire-Grilled Chicken is the first bone-in chicken innovation that El Pollo Loco has had in about eight years,” said Chef Rene Pisciotti, El Pollo Loco’s Head of Culinary Innovation. “This flavor combination amplifies our citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken.”

Fans can get in on the heatwave with Mango Habanero Chicken Meals, Family Meals, or grab it a la carte. And if you’re looking to stack your savings, El Pollo Loco is keeping the deals rolling with its two for $5 Taco Tuesday, $5 Original Pollo Bowl, and the new Loco Friday Drops—a rotating lineup of exclusive deals and giveaways for Loco Rewards Members running through 2025.

Prices start at $9.19 for a two-piece meal with two small sides, while an eight-piece family meal with two large sides kicks off at $25.79. Want more heat? The Mango Habanero Sauce is also available as an add-on for dipping, drizzling, or drowning your meal in extra ‘swicy’ goodness.
