DRUNKBEAST: Cherch Lounge & Taqueria de Anda (Fullerton, CA)
Ever gone out for a night with the friends, started drinking, had some fun, and rounded out the evening with a hearty, sloppy, meal at your favorite taco spot? That’s exactly what happened here, and that entire process is exactly what we call #DRUNKBEASTING. After checking out a nice performance from our friends Wafeek, Sum Difference and Rudeluv at Downtown Fullerton’s Cherch Lounge, we decided a nice Mexican dinner at late night hype-spot Taqueria de Anda would calm our buzz. Here’s the journey:
Shots are usually a nice way to get the night going. Lemon drops anyone?
A few drinks later, the man Wafeek hit the stage and got the crowd going. Why not?
Look who showed up! Celebrity Grub editor Hiep-hop! Trust, he’s nicer in person than he plays out on those sassy-ass Celeb Grub posts you guys read everyday!
Uh-oh! Another Vic Yanie sighting, giving off the usual creeper ambience. It’s all good, get to know him, he’s actually a cuddly bear.
The VIP can get a bit ridiculous. Catch our boy Tim aka Sum Difference to the left of the screen gettin’ his human-floatie on. To the right we got our man Geoff doin’ the running man, with Rudeluv documenting it on the CrackBerry to playback the following morning.
Once Cherch’s wraps up, we hit the streets to make our strut to the local Taqueria de Anda. On the way over, we spot our man in the yellow tee, long time friend MC Marl. Let’s give him that face time:
