Chuck E. Cheese Introduces A Season Pass Program

Chuck E. Cheese is introducing its inaugural membership program exclusively to families in San Diego, with plans for expansion to other markets later this year, per PR Newswire.

The program, designed to function like a season pass, will offer three tiers and is inspired by the success of the brand’s summer fun passes over the past three years. It aims to hook families up with a convenient and cost-effective way to experience Chuck E. Cheese all year round, giving some relief to many cash-strapped budgets.

The tiers include:

  • Bronze, available for $7.99 per month, which includes:
    • 70 Play Points
    • 200 e-tickets to be redeemed at the Prize Wall
    • 20% discount on food, drink and extra Play Points on every visit
  • Silver, available for $11.99 per month, which includes:
    • 115 Play Points
    • 300 e-tickets to be redeemed at the Prize Wall
    • 30% discount on food, drink and extra Play Points on every visit
  • Gold, available for $29.99 per month, which includes:
    • 300 Play Points
    • 1,000 e-tickets to be redeemed at the Prize Wall
    • 50% discount on food, drink and extra Play Points on every visit

The monthly membership benefits include:

  • One play card for each child in the family
  • Weekly replenishment of play points and e-tickets
  • Surprise bonus perks throughout the year, such as gifts, prizes, and more.

Beyond launching a membership program pilot, Chuck E. Cheese will also be upgrading fun centers in various California markets as part of ongoing remodeling efforts to enhance all locations by the end of 2024.

These upgrades include introducing new games and technology like play passes and play bands, transitioning from tokens to e-tickets, and implementing touchless payment systems. Additionally, the centers will feature a new entertainment concept called Chuck E. Live! Show, offering a fully immersive dance-along and concert experience, along with Chuck E. Cheese Trampoline Zones for safe bouncing fun for kids up to 52″ tall.
