Chips Ahoy! Finally Adds Gluten Free Cookies To Its Lineup

Chips Ahoy! is finally jumping on the gluten free train with its first-ever gluten free cookies! From the makers of OREO and Tate’s, Mondelez’s Chips Ahoy! gluten-free cookies took 40 recipes and over 3,000 hours to make just right.

The folks at Chips Ahoy! describe the newest addition as a “revolutionary, new permanent addition to the brand’s innovative and beloved lineup.”

The gluten free diet really took off in America in 2010, so if you are wondering why did Chips Ahoy! create one now, 14 years later, we wanted to know the same.

“When we set out to create our first Chips Ahoy! Gluten Free cookie, we didn’t want it to be a good gluten free cookie, we wanted it to be a great cookie that’s also gluten free,” Jainette Quinones, Brand Manager Chips Ahoy! Innovation.

Well, there you have it. The cookie makers wanted to bring the iconic taste of Chips Ahoy! to everyone. You can get your hands on the new Chips Ahoy! Gluten Free Cookies starting this May.
