Chipotle is testing drone delivery, and Starbucks just announced an innovative AI-assistant named “Green Dot Assist” that predicts orders, manages inventory, and quite possibly, sets the stage for human workers to be obsolete. And now, Chick-fil-A has announced another human-free way to grub.

The fast food chain is testing its first-ever 24-hour vending machine, open except on Sunday (of course), at the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia.

According to USA Today, the vending machine will offer grab-and-go items, including the Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap, the Southwest Veggie Wrap, and two Waffle Potato chip flavors. The spokesperson also said that Chick-fil-A “seeks to provide a convenient option for hospital employees and visitors on the go.”

This sounds like an awesome idea and one I believe will be a success. However, I do wonder if it will further incentivize automation at chain locations. Robot fears aside, I’m looking forward to seeing how it plays out, and whether it will be the start of a trend among fast food chains. Here’s a price breakdown of what the vending machine will offer:

  • Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap with Avocado Lime Ranch: $8.49
  • Southwest Veggie Wrap with Creamy Salsa: $7.99
  • Original Waffle Potato Chips: $2.19
  • Chick-fil-A Sauce Flavored Waffle Potato Chips: $2.19
