Burgerville Introduces Portobello Focused Seasonal Items

For a limited time only, Oregon and Washington based Burgerville chain will be introducing two new menu items that put Yahmhill County Portobello Mushrooms in the limelight. The first item is a Roasted Portobello Focaccia Sandwich, sporting a portobello mushroom roasted in garlic and olive oil, topped with provolone cheese, caramelized red onions, lettuce and garlic aioli. All of this is served on a toasted herb focaccia with sun-dried tomato spread.

To accessorize your burger, the chain has fashioned up some Portobello Wedges. These strips are made of portobello wedges, hand battered and breaded in panko bread crumbs and fried to a golden brown. Served with your choice of garlic aioli or Litehouse Ranch dipping sauce. I’ll take a bit of both sauces, a dabble of Sriracha all mixed in a cereal-sized bowl. Thanks.
