Bondi Beach Breakfast for 5,000

Last Sunday, Australia’s Bondi Beach was the location for a breakfast for 5,000 comprised of coffee, egg rolls and muesli cereal as part of the country’s month-long international food festival Crave Sydney. The beach breakfast replaced the previous year’s festival’s morning event, Breakfast on Harbor bridge. The festival’s director Joanna Savill says that that while she cannot promise anything just yet, there will be more Bondi Breakfasts in years to come for the festival. (via The Wall Street Journal)
