Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken is channeling some of Willy Wonka’s energy to celebrate the opening of their new Santa Monica, CA location by awarding a select few a golden-filled Moon Pie Doughnut. For those lucky ones that bite into their doughnut to reveal its golden deliciousness, they become winners of a year’s worth of free doughnuts from Astro.

The Golden Doughnut will be filled with edible gold filling and mixed in every hour with free Moon Pie Doughnuts that are being given out during the Santa Monica location’s opening day on March 28, 2019. So if you’re in it for the proverbial golden ticket, make your way on over there for a chance to make Homer Simpson very jealous of you.

The Astro Doughnuts & Fried Chicken Santa Monica, CA location will be open on Thursday March 28 at 7:30pm.
