Alfred — Personal iPhone Buddy Makes Serendipitous Eating Suggestions

If you’re anything like me, you never know where to eat when it comes to being around a group of hungry, indecisive friends. Actually, if you’re anything like me, you could probably use one or too more friends, and thanks to application production house Cleversense, we are introduced to Alfred — a custom curator of recommendations in tune with your tastes, location, and situation. A Pandora for real life, if you will.

This free iPhone application inquires about a few of your favorite places for dinner, lunch, nightlife, coffee and brunch, and then recommends places you might enjoy based on those favorites. The more you teach Alfred, the better his recommendations become. He currently only functions in the United States, but the developer promises a knowledge of other countries in the future!

The application also shows you the menu, open hours, photos and other useful information to help you on your serendipitous journey. (Free @ iTunes)
