Knott's Berry Farm is known as the originator of the boysenberry and each Spring they put their unique fruit to work by showcasing its endless culinary potential at their annual Boysenberry Festival.

The three-week food fest (March 16 - April 8) is a grand presentation of just how many creative and delicious ways Knott's can incorporate the boysenberry into as many fun and unique dishes as possible.

This year they're debuting some must-have bites as well as bringing back some tried-and-true favorites. Think an off-the-wall boysenberry milk tea with boysenberry infused boba balls and boysenberry elote with boysenberry mayo and boysenberry butter.

Clearly, Knott's does not play when it comes to flipping the best takes on boysenberry bliss.

At a recent preview, we had a chance to check out the cornucopia of boysenberry eats at Knott's Berry Farm. Here are just a few of the must-try and crave-worthy treats being served up at the Boysenberry Festival, in all their purple glory.

1. Boysenberry-Dipped Cheesecake On A Stick

This is a fever dream fulfilled for anyone who's ever wanted to take cheesecake on the go. Dipping that slice in boysenberry white chocolate and you're practically running away with this thing.

2. Boysenberry Cheese Quesadilla

Mozzarella and Cotija cheeses get all melty and cozy within a boysenberry tortilla here. You can choose to top them with boysenberry salsa or boysenberry sour cream to complete the purple affair.

3. Fried Alligator Bites w/ Fries and Boysenberry Aioli

An established favorite at the annual Boysenberry Festival, tender fried alligator bites return with the usual accompaniment of fries and creamy boysenberry aioli dipping sauce.

4. Boysenberry Elote

Get ready to get messy with this newcomer. Boysenberry mayo and boysenberry butter are lathered onto juicy corn on the cob that flips what you thought you knew about elote and adds a little signature boysenberry tang to it.

5. Chicken Wings and Fries w/ Boysenberry Sauce

Chicken wings and fries are arguably everybody's favorite entertainment food, throw on a hint of sweetness from some boysenberry BBQ sauce and we're treading on 'all-time' conversation here.

6. Boysenberry Boba

Boysenberry milk tea is an impressive feat in itself, but since the theme here is full tilt boysenberry, Knott's decided to throw in some boysenberry-infused boba balls for maximum effect. It's a sweet treat to cool off with while trekking through the park.

7. Boysenberry Pie Milkshake

For those with the largest sweet tooth, this boysenberry pie milkshake is your kryptonite. Imagine a whole slice of boysenberry pie blended into a boysenberry milkshake and then topped with a healthy chunk of boysenberry pie. Yeah, we're all about this situation right here.

8. Two Foot Hot Dog on Boysenberry Bun

Sure, the impressive length of this dog is what jumps out at you here. But don't forget that the boysenberry bun helps turn this item into a tasty duo that requires a group effort to take down.

9. Boysenberry Coconut Macaroon

These scrumptious little coconut clusters are another sweet to look forward to at the Boysenberry Festival, especially the way they're dipped in a purple chocolate ganache. Lookin' like a snack, literally.
