‘300 Sandwiches’ Blogger Lands Book Deal

Stephanie Smith, the woman who outed herself as the author of the blog 300 Sandwiches, just signed a book deal. Yes, we’re talking about the same lady who believes the way through a man’s heart is through delicious, mouth-watering sandwiches.

Smith signed with Zink Ink of Random House, headed by David Zinczenko and Stephen Perrine. Zinczenko told NY Post, “…When she told us about her romantic, passionate, and very funny quest to make her boyfriend 300 sandwiches, our first reaction was, ‘That’s a book.'”

The book will feature her blog, which chronicles the author’s quest to make her boyfriend 300 sandwiches in exchange for an engagement ring. Smith is currently at sandwich #197. 300 is set to debut around Valentine’s Day 2015, and we bet there’s already talks of turning this into the next Love Actually of food. As fate would have it, the book deal was announced as the San Francisco Chronicle’s food section was reported to fold.
