KFC vs. El Pollo Loco: El Pollo Loco to accept KFC/Oprah Coupons

KFC and El Pollo Loco have been going at ever since KFC rolled out with their new Grilled Chicken Menu. The two companies have been trading blows for weeks now, KFC attempting to prove to the public that their grilled chicken can stanup to the best of them, and El Pollo Loco has been on a mission to prove their time tested grilled chicken supremacy. Yesterday, KFC pulled the biggest chess move in the game yet, teaming up with media giant Oprah to give away free grilled chicken meals to every citizen in the United States until May 19th. El Pollo Loco was definitely not going to take this lying down. Upon looking at KFC’s latest promotion, they noticed that the coupons were good for everyday BUT May 10th, Mother’s Day. El Pollo Loco decided to jump at the loophole, inviting Mothers and customers alike to to receive a FREE two-piece meal that includes two pieces of El Pollo Loco’s fresh, natural, citrus-marinated, flame-grilled chicken, a choice of two small sides, plus two tortillas and fresh salsa (FastFoodMaven). How you get it? Bring in your KFC coupon and redeem it at El Pollo Loco that Sunday, it’s that easy! What will happen next?!
