Have you ever wanted to have a matcha with a Carribean kick? Well, now you can thanks to Matchaful and The Marías. The New York City-based match brand and indie pop band teamed to create their dream beverage inspired by María’s Puerto Rican heritage.

The Coquito Matcha features Kiwami matcha, cinnamon, vanilla powder and maple syrup, blended with house made almond milk and topped with coconut whipped cream and a dusting of cinnamon.

“This fall, we’re teaming up with our favorite NYC matcha spot, Matchaful, to create our dream drink—the Coquito Matcha—inspired by María’s Puerto Rican roots,” said The Marías. “The drink is our spin on a coquito, the traditional Puerto Rican holiday drink, and will support efforts to protect wildlife and natural habitats in Puerto Rico.”

The Grammy-nominated band, known for Latin influences, R&B, jazz, and dreamy pop are the latest creators to team with Matchaful. Previous collabs include Addison Rae, Samah Dada, and FKA Twigs.

The Matchaful Coquito Matcha will be available at all Matchaful locations through the end of the year.
