BJ’s Debuts New Broccoli Cheddar Pizookie

UPDATE: BJ’s Broccoli Cheddar Pizookie was never real. The bizarre item was part of a PR stunt to tease the upcoming Snickers Pizookie, and will not be appearing on menus.

After answering our prayers with the Pizookie pass, then teasing us with the limited-edition Pizickle Pizookie, BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is ready to shake things up with a savory spin is on their fan-favorite Pizookie.

The Broccoli Cheddar Pizookie reimagines the classic combo, transforming broccoli and cheddar into a base for two scoops of mashed potatoes and melted cheddar cheese. By the sounds of it, this indulgent twist lives up to the classic Pizookie’s reputation.

“We’re always pushing the boundaries of flavor, and this time, we’ve struck gold with an unexpected yet utterly delightful combination,” said Heidi Rogers, Senior Vice President of Marketing at BJ’s Restaurants, Inc. “We asked ourselves, ‘What’s the most unexpected, yet undeniably comforting flavor profile we could possibly create?’ And the answer, naturally, was broccoli and cheddar.”

BJ’s new Broccoli Cheddar Pizookie is available nationwide for a limited time. The classic Pizookie is still available for those who prefer sweet over savory.
