Reese’s just launched its Deconstructed Peanut Butter Cup Kit on November 2, allowing both brand enthusiasts and those possessed by the sweet tooth the opportunity to fill up the iconic chocolate shell with as much or as little peanut butter as their cravings call for.

It’s safe to say the DIY experiential product launch follows suit after a viral Reddit post was shared by a contributor on r/mildlyinteresting, who’s digital tone sounded surprisingly calm and collected. They shared, “My entire five pack of Reese’s had no peanut butter in it.”

The mix-up, which the Redditor said was corrected by Reese’s sending them a coupon, resulted in the limited-time kit – Reese’s Deconstructed Peanut Butter Cup which included an experience with a giant 9 oz milk chocolate shell & lid plus a 10 oz jar of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup filling.

The treat dropped on Saturday, Nov. 2, for $29.99 on the Hershey’s website but sold out at lightning speed and is sadly unavailable now. However, don’t despair as the Hershey’s Store says that given their fans’ “overwhelming interest” they’re considering bringing back the DIY kits.
