Oil painter Noah Verrier has made a name for himself by creating art inspired by our favorite junk foods. His vibrant works feature everything from a Panda Express to-go box overflowing with noodles and Taco Bell’s Baja Blast to jelly donuts, Modelo beer, a Popeyes two-piece with a biscuit, and a Wendy’s meal with fries dipped in a Frosty—the list goes on. His passion for art and food garnered well-deserved attention when his painting of a classic Smucker’s Uncrustable went viral on Twitter, receiving 48,000 retweets and 508,000 likes, and ultimately sold on eBay for $6,800 CAD (about $5,000 USD).

His old-fashioned painting style has resonated with art lovers and foodies alike, making him one of the few successful food-based artists in the field. His website features a wide variety of paintings, many of which sell out due to their reasonable price points. A hand-embellished print of a hand-painted Baja Blast meal is available for just $350, a great deal for such art, or you can grab a print of one of his popular images for under $60.

Art is subjective, but delicious food isn’t—whether it’s fast, slow, or rendered on canvas.
