Heinz Launches Hands-Free Robotic Dipper, Letting Gamers Play Non-Stop

Heinz has an intimate relationship with gamers, after all, what other condiment brand is better at keeping finger foods properly sauced? Now, the brand has come up with an even better way for gamers to play uninterrupted, while enjoying its dip-worthy line of sauces.

Heinz has created the “Hum Hum,” a new robotic hands-free snack dipper that was designed specifically for gamers to stay locked in, uninterrupted from level 1 to the final boss.

Hum Hum is equipped with a mechanical hand that grips and dips snacks into sauces and then feeds them to you. You can operate it by stepping on foot pedals. This isn’t just a marketing gimmick either, Heinz plans to create future models that can respond to voice commands and face recognition. It’s safe to say that the company is not playing, erm… games.

“We know that 75% of Heinz lovers wish they can dip sauces while gaming. Hum Hum is our irrational act of love to our gamer consumers’ irrational love for Heinz. It is our gift to the gaming community because every gaming session deserves to be saucy, and of course, uninterrupted,” said Passant El Ghannam, head of marketing at Kraft Heinz MEA.

The Hum Hum launched at Esports World Cup 2024, the world’s biggest gaming festival located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
