Innovative Food Printer Pumps Out Dosa In Under A Minute

Few things are more alluring than convenience, especially when you’re craving delicious eats. EVOCHEF’s new machine called the EC Flip Dosa Maker has put a whole new spin on fast food.

If you’re unfamiliar, dosa is a thin, savory crepe that’s popular in South Indian cuisine. It’s traditionally made from rice and urad, a small bean from South Asia that is related to the mung bean. The popularity of dosa has inspired many variations and today there are more than 100 different dosa styles.

In a clip shared on Instagram, a man enthusiastically demonstrates the new dosa printer. It’s equipped with a tray for your batter mixture and a food-grade coated hot roller that cooks and flattens the dosa crepe-style. You simply pour the mixture into the tray, turn the device on, and watch as the magic happens. Once powered, the tray lifts and empties the contents onto the hot roller.

The machine also allows you to customize the thickness of the crepe, adjust the crispiness, and number of dosa that you’d like to make — it can make up to five back to back. The best part is that any batter works, even chocolate. After you’ve had your fill of dosa, you can easily detach the parts for cleaning.

Get your dosa fix with EVOCHEF’s EC Flip Dosa Maker for only ₹13,900 (or USD 166.82). For an affordable price like that, you’ll be swimming in dosa batter.
