Pizza Hut Brings Back 90s Favorite ‘The Edge’ Pizza

The time was 1997: the unpleasant cacophony of a modem dialing up as you connected to the internet was the norm, a Spice Girls song was stuck in your head, and many pizza lovers in the US were wowed by Pizza Hut’s The Edge. Boasting the flavorsome details of toppings packed to the literal edges of the pizza’s thin crust, The Edge became an instant hit for the pizza chain.

Fast forward to now, where we’re almost instantaneously connected to the internet at any given moment, you’re likely humming a Pop Smoke tune, and re-introduced to The Edge. That’s because Pizza Hut is bringing back this menu innovation, where fans can again fall in love with the tavern-style combo of fresh toppings, thin, crispy, light crust and shareable square pieces.

Fans looking to have pizza toppings dominate the real estate of their pie can get The Edge in the following iterations:

  • The Ultimate is packed with pepperoni, Italian sausage, green peppers, onions and Roma tomatoes
  • The Carnivore is loaded with pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage and bacon
  • The Vegetarian is overflowing with green peppers, onions, mushrooms and Roma tomatoes
  • Pepperoni Lover’s® is topped with pepperoni, pepperoni and more pepperoni

The Edge will only be available for a limited time and goes for $12.99.
