Krispy Kreme Just Turned Our Favorite Desserts Into Mini Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme is taking some timeless treats and miniaturizing them into fried dough form in a new batch of mini doughnuts.

The new Mini Dessert Doughnut collection just dropped in stores across the country. Some shops in Canada might also be considered participating locations, so Canadians might want to check their local store to see if they carry them as well.

Each creation is inspired by one of our favorite desserts, whether it be chocolate chip cookies, birthday cakes, strawberry cheesecake, or the luscious lemon bar.

Krispy Kreme’s Chocolate Chip Cookie mini doughnut features chocolate icing, a cookie dough filling topping (it’s not inside the doughnut), chocolate drizzle, and mini chocolate chips. The Birthday Cake one has confetti cake crumbles, birthday cake buttercream and sprinkles, while the Strawberry Cheesecake flavor features a cream cheese icing, graham cracker crumble, cheesecake Kreme, and a strawberry drizzle. Finally, the Lemon Bar variant comes with yellow icing, shortbread crumbles, powdered sugar, and a lemon curd swirl.

Since this is a collection, the entire set of donuts comes as a 4-pack box. Think of it as sampling bits of each dessert at a dinner party without indulging in a full portion of each. For those looking to share, a 16-pack is also available.

The Mini Dessert Doughnut collection marks the first limited-edition set of flavors in Krispy Kreme’s mini doughnut lineup. Krispy Kreme first started carrying mini doughnuts, including their Original Glazed flavor, as a permanent item back in early 2020.
