Trader Joe’s Is Adding Their Own Truffle Hot Sauce To Shelves
Truffle hot sauce is probably one of my favorite condiment innovations in recent memory. The first time I tried the ever-popular Truff, I was hooked — throwing it onto anything shy of breakfast cereal that I could get my hands on.
Well, it looks like Trader Joe’s has created their competing line of truffle-infused hot sauce.
Spotted by Foodbeast @ericavaron at her local Trader Joe’s, the sauce boasts a medley of chili peppers combined with a black truffle base.
The Trader Joe’s Truffle Hot Sauce is priced at $8, costing about half of what you’d find for a bottle of Truff.
If they taste anything alike, there could be a pretty sizable shift in the black truffle hot sauce game. Might make a trip out to my local Trader Joe’s this weekend and see if I can find a bottle.
