Bro Uses Hysterical Snapchat Prank To Get His Friends To Join Him For Drinks

Now this is a genius way to take advantage of social media for a super clever prank on your buds.

Metro News reports that after he and one of his friends hit their bros up to go grab some beers and received no response, Brentwood resident Jack Potter decided to mess with them via a little bit of Snapchat trickery that he later posted to Twitter in a now-viral tweet.

After purchasing a pint from the bar he and his companion were at, Potter used a Snapchat feature to make it look like he had five beers on deck and sent a Snap out to the his group with the following message:

“Got five pints in boys, first 5 down get a free one on me.”

Potter told Metro News that his friends thought the beers were legit and raced on over, only to find themselves on the receiving end of a hysterical prank. At least one of his pals took it a little seriously and was reportedly mad that there were no free brews available, but in the end, the whole squad was boomin’ and having a good time over a couple of rounds of beer.
