Misunderstanding Leads To Bizarre Mike Tyson Ice Cream Theft Accusations

Let’s be real for a second. If you saw Mike Tyson — the guy with a face tattoo who was famous for beating up people for a living — steal some ice cream, would you try to stop him?

The Baddest Man on the Planet was allegedly spotted swiping a Ben & Jerry’s ice cream bar while attending the US Open Tennis Championships, Monday.

According to the New York Post, multiple witnesses said they saw him reach over the ice cream kiosk and never pay the $5.50 price tag on the cold treat.

A worker told the Post that he saw the former world heavyweight champ do it, but ““What are you going to do, fight him? He’s Mike Tyson.”

Like I said, who’s going to stop Iron Mike?

Tyson’s publicist, Joann Mignano came to the rescue and said that Mike was busy being famous all day, and the ice cream was supposed to be taken care of by USTA national manager David Slade, who was Tyson’s host for the day. She also said that Mike eventually gave Slade the money and the ice cream was paid for.

Sure, we’ve seen a lighter side of him in the Hangover movie, and his one-man-show, Undisputed Truth, but you sure as hell will not see me trying to be a good Samaritan and stopping the champ from doing anything he wants.
