This Heatwave Has People Literally Cooking Steak On The Street [WATCH]

It’s that time of the year where everyone complains about the hot weather, as they sit in air-conditioned buildings, and only feel the unbearable heat on the walk to the parking lot.

Sure, some complaints are exaggerated, but it’s safe to say it really is ridiculously hot on the west coast right now, as you can literally cook steaks outside using the heat from the sun. Some call them “Heat Street Steaks!

Let me explain.

This hilarious/scary video, posted by the YouTube channel “When In Your State,” shows an Arizona resident who laid out a baking pan on the street and let the 100+ degree weather do its thing, as he began to throw some seasoned steaks on the pan.

Wouldn’t you know it, the steaks actually started cooking a bit. It’s very unlikely that they’d properly cook that way, but it still makes for good video, hearing the sizzle and watching the steaks change color.

While I initially questioned the credibility of this cooking madness, one of our Foodbeast interns lives in Arizona and said this type of cooking really is a thing out there.

Those cookies baking on the dashboard of the Lamborghini, also a real thing, although it’s probably not always in a Lamborghini.

The video below is from Las Vegas and actually gives a step-by-step process to this solar-powered baking.

There’s even been videos in the past showing that you can fry an egg in Arizona’s 120-degree weather.
